This beautifully beaded pocket knife sits on Baba Yaga’s hip as she combs the forest, ready to cut off the wormy bottom of a toadstool, or cook fingers into a stew. Baba Yaga represents the crone aspect of feminine energy; mysterious and shape-shifting, she no longer adheres to social rules or standards. Baba Yaga is not good, yet not bad either… you definitely need your wits about you if you plan to enter her domain…
At this time in the world, we have a great need for Baba Yaga and her blade. It is a call for society to mature out of youthful ignorance and apathy, to cast aside living in accordance to pre-ordained rules, and to live within our wildest nature.
This one of a kind art piece is made with care out of seed beads, felt, and lace (dimensions 9” x 1.5”). It can be hung up from the lace by the “bone“ handle, or on it’s small metal hook on the back near the tip. The knife also looks beautiful adorning a shelf display with other mystical objects…
